EHF European Cup Men 2024/25

Macedonian team HC Alkaloid emerged as the EHF European Cup Men 2024/25 victors after a smooth run through the competition.

The success came early in the club’s history — founded only in July 2021, Alkaloid played the EHF European League Men group matches in 2023/24 before taking the third-tier trophy in 2025.
Alkaloid’s route to the final saw them claim eight victories, one draw and lose just one game, against Runar Sandefjord in the second leg of the semi-finals. However, they had done enough in the first leg at home to claim a place in the final against AEK Athens.

Alkaloid went on to win the first leg of the final in Greece 29:25; the second leg was called off and the match, and the trophy, awarded to the Macedonian side after a review by the Court of Handball.
